THE ROLE

As a Senior Interior Design Consultant at Shohaus, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients to create exceptional and personalized design solutions. Leveraging your expertise in interior design, you will provide guidance, recommendations, and inspiration to clients, helping them transform their spaces into beautiful and functional environments. Your passion for design, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service skills will make a significant impact in delivering outstanding results and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences, goals, and requirements for their residential or commercial spaces.
  • Offer expert design advice, recommendations, and solutions to clients, considering their unique style, budget, and functional needs.
  • Create comprehensive design plans, including space layouts, furniture selections, color schemes, and material choices, to bring the client's vision to life.
  • Present design concepts, mood boards, and visual representations to clients, effectively communicating design ideas and options.
  • Assist clients in selecting furniture, fixtures, lighting, accessories, and other design elements that align with their style and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other professionals to ensure seamless execution of design projects, including ordering and tracking of products, managing budgets, and overseeing installations.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, materials, and industry innovations to provide clients with cutting-edge and relevant design solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire design process, addressing client questions, concerns, and changes with professionalism and promptness.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering repeat business and referrals through exemplary design expertise and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including managerial responsibilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Compensation:

The pay range for this position is $67,000-$89,000. We offer a competitive compensation package for this position, commensurate with experience, skill, knowledge, certifications, qualifications, and location. The pay range may be different in other areas depending on the average cost of labor in that area.
