THE ROLE

As a Senior Exterior Design Consultant at Shohaus, you will play a pivotal role in creating stunning outdoor spaces for our clients. Leveraging your expertise in exterior design, landscaping, and horticulture, you will provide innovative and tailored design solutions that enhance the beauty and functionality of outdoor environments. Your passion for design, keen eye for detail, and ability to collaborate with clients will be instrumental in creating extraordinary outdoor living spaces.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and lifestyle preferences for their outdoor spaces.
• Present design concepts, 3D visualizations, and material samples to clients, effectively communicating design ideas and inspiring their imagination.
• Collaborate with designers, production artists, and other professionals to ensure seamless execution of design projects, overseeing project timelines.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and sustainable practices in exterior design, incorporating innovative and eco-friendly elements into design solutions.
• Foster strong client relationships through exceptional customer service, responsiveness, and ongoing support throughout the design and implementation process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Interior Design Consultant, with a focus on high-end residential or commercial projects.
• Proficiency in design software and visualization tools, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit, to create detailed designs and renderings.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, space planning, color theory, materials, and furnishings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and interpret client needs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in design plans and project management.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering exceptional results.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Professional certifications or affiliations in interior design are a plus.

Compensation:

The pay range for this position is $87,000-$115,000. We offer a competitive compensation package for this position, commensurate with experience, skill, knowledge, certifications, qualifications, and location. The pay range may be different in other areas depending on the average cost of labor in that area.
